Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an American author of cookery books and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons till 2020. Ina began working in the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy as well as the budget. In the beginning, she found her work interesting and stimulating but eventually lost interest and opened a food specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. The store was very successful over the course of 18 years until she decided to let it go. After that, she started her first cookbook. A number of other cookbooks and magazine columns followed. Her Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. Also, Ina sells products including food-related ingredients, storage containers and tools. Ina she is a self-taught cook and has not attended the culinary institute or at a hotel. She is known as a simple cook and for her entertaining style. She is well-known for her easy recipes like Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni, Cheese and made with beef Bourguignon, and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
