Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and a writer. She is most well known for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her professional career as an actor on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Then she appeared in several Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In 1957, she launched her first album of music entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise began her journey into Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. During this time she joined the Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career, balancing Broadway television and Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious in contrast to her glamour-doll image was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary however she also was an effective television director in various series like Supernatural & The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of her childhood and adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
